Camp Levine at Levine Music's Northwest DC campus (2801 Upton St NW) is a music and fine-arts day camp for children ages 4-18, running Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 3:45pm with before- and after-care available. Age-grouped programs build creative expression through singing, playing instruments, dance, musical theater, and visual art. It is one of several Camp Levine locations across DC, Maryland, and Virginia (see the THEARC campus row).

★Pamina FirchowOur 13 year old daughter is taking piano lessons at Levine this year. She has been playing piano for 7 years and we moved to Levine after struggling to find a good fit for her after moving to the DMV. As with all teens, it has been a bit of a struggle to keep her motivated although she recognizes that she has a special gift and loves playing the piano. We had high hopes for Levine and were willing to pay the high costs to join a community that would hopefully inspire and motivate my teen. Unfortunately, they have not delivered at all even after several communications with the teacher and a manager. She is not more motivated to practice at home and I barely ever hear her play new songs. She has never been invited to play in a Levine concert or participate in any of their activities. She has her 45 minute lesson with the teacher and that is it. Needless to say, I can do this for half the cost with a teacher at home. So, we will be saying goodbye to Levine at the end of this school year.

★★★★★Corey NewmanMy 8 year old son first did one of the 3 week summer camps, and is now enrolled in group piano. His playing abilities have really progressed rapidly, and he enjoys playing. He even tolerates practicing at home most days. I'd certainly recommend Levine for both summer camp and also weekly lessons during the school year. If the weather is nice, there's a small outdoor play area for siblings.
