TopNotch Tennis is the McLean-area outdoor tennis program of ProsToYou Tennis, which acquired it and runs weekly summer camps at swim and tennis clubs across McLean, Falls Church, Alexandria and suburban Maryland. Camp days mix tennis instruction with recreational games such as knockout, pickleball, handball, capture the flag, ultimate frisbee and soccer, plus arts and free swim, with campers grouped by age; the full-day option runs 8:30am-4:00pm and half-day morning and afternoon options are available. Regular camp takes ages 4-12 (four-year-olds are half-day only) and a counselor-in-training track runs for ages 13-15. Before care from 7:30am and after care to 6:00pm can be purchased weekly, and all campers take a pool swim test on their first day.

★Will PilkintonSome of the coaches are great but the owner/coach is not. His camps are run by young, inexperienced adults so that he doesn’t need to pay minimum wage. Some of the staff is incredible and tennis lessons are expensive. If you want to get what you paid for, it is best to avoid the head coach. It is sad to see tennis diminished by the way he provides services. I believe his name is Moni.
