Private

Timber Lake West is a traditional co-ed overnight camp on 320 secluded mountaintop acres in Roscoe, in the Catskills about two hours from New York City. Campers build their own schedules through an elective program spanning athletics and aquatics, using an Olympic-size pool and a private spring-fed lake that supports waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, sailing, surfbikes, and paddlebikes. The camp runs two four-week sessions, with a shorter First Year Intro Program available to first-time campers entering grades 2-4, and runs a character-education curriculum it calls the STARFISH values program.

This camp looks like the most fun! The grounds are beautiful and it has, lush green lawns ,mini goats and a 🦚 with stunning views. Everything is modern and upkeep is spot on. They have a lake and so so many fun activities and peer bonding experiences. I would have loved to stayed here for a summer session as a child. Every staff member I encountered were engaging and friendly and genuinely happy. It's a gated entry with a guard post for safety. Good for you TLW. You put in the work and it shows.

This place has the most amazing property! Camp Director Bob Audley makes this camp a gem with every sport you can think of a global staff that is engaged and coaches that are committed. This is a camp pre-teens and teens will admit changed their lives.

I do not remember this place for a wedding let alone have a child here. Staff does not care. The cleanliness of the accommodations were very dirty and has dangerous mold in the bathroom. The owner or GM change this up on you, make you pay more money then agreed upon. Very, very rude staff. All of the meals have been tasteless. No type of heat and it is cold. Someone fell and they refused to do an accident report.

The venue was perfect for us. The owner and staff were professional, communicative and went above and beyond to make our wedding a special event. We got everything we wanted and more, and we highly recommend this place for any future wedding events.

Come for the go carts. Stay for the values. These guys know what they're doing. Our son gained confidence and friendships that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended!
