Thorntree Country Club is a private golf and tennis club in DeSoto, managed by Encore Leisure Group, with six lighted, landscaped hard tennis courts. Its tennis staff runs junior tennis camps and a weekly junior program alongside private and group lessons, USTA and UTR league and tournament play, and adult clinics. Camp and weekly junior schedules are published as downloadable PDFs, and families arrange enrollment through the club's tennis shop. The club also has a junior-Olympic pool open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
