The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre is a Town of Wake Forest arts center offering summer camps in performing and visual arts. Its Summer Stage Camps have students spend about two weeks learning songs, choreography and blocking toward a fully produced youth musical, while visual-arts camps cover pottery, mixed media and more for grades K-8. Registration is through the town's RecDesk system, and scholarships are available for some camps.

This is a gem of a performing arts center. We attend almost every show. There is not a bad seat in the house, the tickets are reasonable, as are the concessions. The team does a great job - all the time.

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre is located in Renaissance Place in Downtown Wake Forest. It is located in the same shopping center as Strike & Barrel, Over the Falls, and Dollar General. The shopping center has a large parking lot, but finding a spot has become more challenging. So thankfully, there is street parking and the town parking lot across the street. In the last few years, the Renaissance Centre hasn't had as much variety in performances. The same acts seem to come back year to year rather than getting different performers. They have murder mysteries, comedy acts, storytelling, magic acts, concerts, a film festival, and children's acts. The seating is in office chairs, usually at floor level, which worked better with staggered seats with the sides on angles, as the view was better. Now all the rows are straight, and the chairs are directly behind the others. Some events use round tables, while others use risers to create stadium seating, so they are trying to create a better experience. I hope the upcoming season has some new shows.

Recently worked at an event at this venue. Very nice facility. The staff was amazing and accommodating, clean facilities and an overall great space. Nice stage area, provided dance floors chairs and tables. A few decorations went a long way!

Very clean and friendly environment. I love the town of wake forest city council. Everyone was welcome. They did an event where they brought all kinds of different cultures together and invited everyone out for dancing, music, raffles, and food.. it was truly awesome!
