Powered by GoogleI got my membership the second time I came to Trails back in February. I hadn't worked out since 2015 due to health reasons. Last year I tried finding a gym in Castle Rock, but the 2 gyms that had pools weren't very good. I thoroughly enjoy coming to Trails, everything is clean, the equipment is high tech, the machines aren't stuck in a room with low ceilings, the pool is amazing, with great amenities, and all the staff is kind, and helpful. I even broke out of my hermit shell, and took a Soundbath class, that was quite lovely. Last week when the pool was closed I visited other gyms in the area, I missed Trails, and made me appreciate coming there even more. I definitely feel spoiled going to Trails with all they have to offer.
Please do better at supporting your staff. I was at the pool area today and witnessed a group of large teenage boys being incredibly disrespectful to a lifeguard who had politely asked them to stop breaking rules by cannonballing repeatedly into the small pool causing huge amounts of water to splash out and making it unsafe for others to use the pool near them. They laughed at her, argued with her and blatantly disregarded her request to stop. She finally called a manager but I didn't see anyone but the initial lifeguard talk to the boys. They were allowed to stay and continued to mock her behind her back. I understand that teenagers are going to be obnoxious sometimes but allowing them to bully your employees is not okay.
I regularly bring my three-year-old son to swim, and we use the family changing room. However, I have noticed that middle-aged couples often use the family changing room as well. Since there are only two showers available, this sometimes causes delays for parents with young children. Yesterday, a male employee was also taking a shower there, so I had to wait with my son in the changing room, which was very cold. It was quite uncomfortable for a small child. I hope the facility could strengthen supervision of access to the family changing room so it can better serve families with children. It would also be greatly appreciated if the temperature in the changing room could be increased, as it is quite chilly.
I like this place but in the steam I am not sure how often they wash the floor but it is gross people spit all over . The same way in the sauna as well. If I can get response from the staff about this matter I will appreciate.
Phenomenal facility all around! We went to the pool area and I was blown away. That texture of the pool for the Childrens area is soft like hardened foam and gradually descends like the sand at a beach. There are a lot of really neat splash pad features installed into the pool, a separate pool area that is slightly deeper, the main area is only 3 foot deep, and the area at the slides is super fun!there is also a separate pool for swimming that is roped off for people who are solely exercising and there is a gigantic hot tub as well. Any children in the Hot tub must have an adult with them or they will be asked to leave, I saw this happen and it was great to know that the rules are enforced! We will definitely be back. They have men’s changing rooms, women’s changing rooms, a family changing room, and a changing room that is gender free. The entire facility is immaculately clean, and all of the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have.
