I had looked into various places throughout the country to start my sailing journey and I am extremely happy that I chose The Sailing Academy. From the start, Morgan was incredibly helpful with registration and course logistics as well as confirming that having virtually zero prior sailing experience was not only okay, but common for this combo course. Captain Phinehas was phenomenal. He has a calm demeanor and answered all of our group’s many questions in a way only someone with a significant amount of personal practical experience can. We also got to spend the majority of each class day out on the water which was great for hands-on practice. I am already looking forward to taking future courses with The Sailing Academy!

He was patient, kind and thoughtful with our kids. On top of teaching us all how to sail we swam with the wild pigs, snorkled in sunken ships, fed sting rays, and played on white sand beaches.
