Annapolis Yacht Club runs a junior sailing program each summer for youth ages 5 to 18 on the waters off Annapolis. Beginners ages 8–11 sail Club-owned Optimists in a half-day morning course (9am–noon), while the Learn to Sail keelboat course for ages 13–18 runs a full day (9am–4pm) in J/22s; an intermediate Optimist course fills the afternoons. Instruction covers rigging, boat handling, seamanship, and water safety.

If you want to dine on the third floor, be sure to check to see if it's open. They have shorter hours and require reservations.
