Brendan Sailing Camp has been a truly transformative experience for our son. As a returning camper, he was so excited to go back—and with good reason. The camp provides a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where he’s able to grow in confidence, learn at his own pace, and build lasting friendships. The counselors, both new and returning, went above and beyond to make every day fun, meaningful, and inclusive. Our son came home proud of everything he accomplished—from mastering sailing skills to stepping out of his comfort zone. The growth in his confidence and resilience has been incredible to witness. We are so thankful to the entire Brendan Sailing team for creating a space where kids are truly seen, supported, and celebrated. We can’t recommend this camp highly enough!

We had a fabulous experience with Brendan Sailing this summer. My daughter was able to thrive here in an environment that was designed for kids just like her. She was pushed out of her comfort zone in just the right ways and then supported by great coaches the whole time. Fabulous experience for her and the whole family.

Brendan Sailing is a phenomenal program that my grandson attended the summer of 2023 at St Mary’s College. Not only did he learn how to sail, he walked out with much more confidence in himself. The instructors, along with the volunteers were always working with the campers and engaging them in every aspect. We have attended many camps, but Brendan Sailing tops them all. We hope to go back every year. Thank you for the great experience.

Our son had an amazing experience with the Brendan Sailing overnight camp at St. Mary's College of Maryland. The staff and volunteers made it a very valuable and fun experience, and they have true expertise and love for the sport of sailing. He really enjoyed learning how to sail, doing other fun activities, and building his confidence and independence.

Our son attended Brendan Sailing for the second year in a row. It’s been an absolutely amazing experience for him and has established a love for sailing. The adults running the camp are understanding and knowledgeable, not just about sailing but children who ‘don’t fit the mold’. I feel confident sending my son here!
