Historic public indoor pool (built 1925) at Belmont Park on Mission Beach in San Diego, open to all ages with certified swim instruction. Its Adventure Camp runs 9 a.m.-3 p.m. with themed days and weeks and activities in the pool and around the Belmont Park oceanfront amusement park, led by counselors; private and group swim lessons are also offered.

Our 10 year old had a blast slip sliding around on the inflatable obstacle course. The 7 year old, beginning swimmer was not as sure, but really enjoyed swimming around the course in her floaty and loved the warm on deck showers. We, the grandparents got to have fun in the water too; basketball, shallow end, and lap lanes. We were pleased with the life guard, changing areas, bathrooms seating areas... The Plunge is a beautiful facility. Glad it's been restored and modernized for future generations.

My 2 older kids enjoyed it- 9 & 7 , but my 3 year old did not since the older kids were rough, nothing to do with the facilities itself. I just wish there was something specifically for the younger ones. previous-1st experience An average pool. It has a little obstacle course for kids. My kids enjoyed it, we were there less than 2 hours. I got the family deal, 4 people for $70. I would say it is good for teenagers but not for families with little kids.
