I love this Y! I've been a member of the Y for 15 years, or so; specifically, Copley Price, for at least 10 of those. The instructors, greeters, administrators & camp counselors are helpful and considerate. The programs range from happy kiddos in the childcare section to swimmer's & water aerobic participants that take advantage of the indoor & outdoor pools. Senior exercise classes that focus on stregth, and balance. Yoga, & pilates are available. Zumba is there, in regular and Gold levels. Their outreach programs are inclusive to community members. Teen groups & groups that combine teens & elders. Photography classes, games, arts & crafts, and a community garden. Holiday celebrations, monthly food distributions. Potlucks! This Y is family! Their free Live Strong program helped me get back to the Y, even before I finished a year of treatment that followed my lung cancer surgery. I was grateful to be a participant in a separate discussion group for cancer survivors. There's more: Equipment, indoors & out for whatever you need! If you're not already a member, you're missing out!

I attended the paint and sip event. From the moment I walked in the receptionist was all smiles and helpful. I wish I had gotten her name. Up in the Class, Emily introduced herself, getting my name, also all smiles. The young men by the stairs to the gym were all smiles and at the end they asked to see our pictures, still smiling. The positive vibe makes me want to switch locations! I'm in a bit of a struggle after vacation getting back to the gym (Davis) period. Whatever you're doing there, keep it up! Today's world needs all the smiles and Happy people we can get. Thank you.

This is by far the cleanest gym in San Diego County. Two large swimming pools: one indoors & a larger lap pool outdoors with plenty of lounges for sun tanning. The staff is very helpful. The group classes are limited with sign up times :30 minutes before each session. Beautiful outdoor setting, lots of free parking. There is a LARGE outdoor workout area while the indoor workout rooms are well maintained with all types machines for cardio, stretching and core. Large selection of weights for muscle building. Yoga, Zumba, Body Pump and a variety of wellness classes are offered. This YMCA offers a friendly, stress-free atmosphere. Young adults are welcome and have a special room designed for reading, chilling or meeting friends. This club provides a ping pong table as well as a new pool table offered. High quality massage machines (2) are available for a minimal charge & well worth it. There is also a separate circuit exercise & stretching room. I highly recommend this newest SD YMCA. It's sort of a "sleeper" since it isn't crowded since not many people know about this amazing club!!

This is the 3rd time I’ve had the same issue with the Child Watch service. I drove about 35 minutes with my 8-month-old baby, only to be told again that they are short-staffed and cannot accept infants. No advance notice, no warning, just wasted time and inconvenience for parents relying on this service. This is unacceptable and needs better communication or a proper system in place.

All i can say is that I really liked things about this gym including that they don't play any music… And they don't give any strongly scented products. something that I didn't like is that I felt like there was some discrimination against my situation and I'm not sure what that was being a single gay queer male- but for certain something was going on.
