The Jackie Robinson Family YMCA runs week-long day camps through the YMCA of San Diego County, organised around weekly themes and mixing sports and games, arts and crafts, science experiments, songs and swimming. Specialty weeks cover baseball, basketball, soccer and flag football, cooking with chopping, boiling and pan-frying, LEGO building, slime-making, messy art such as splatter painting and clay sculpting, and a live reptile and insect week; splash weeks pair a swim lesson led by YMCA-certified lifeguards with extended open swim. Camp hours run 7:30am-6:00pm with drop-off to 9:00am and pick-up from 3:30pm, and camps serve ages 5 to 17 depending on programme. The camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and the age-5 High Fives camp states a 1:6 staff-to-camper ratio. Families pack lunch. ACCESS scholarships are available and third-party childcare payments from CDA, CRS, KINSHIP and Cal-Works are accepted.

Powered by GoogleFantastic gym and awesome staff. If you’re looking for a place to get in shape, get great coaching and build community the Jackie Robinson YMCA is the place.
All workers are very attentive, the place always clean, parking is plenty
Been trying to get my son enrolled into camp through the 3rd party provider and YMCA has been completely unresponsive for the past 4 weeks I’ve emailed left voicemails with the supervisor for camp Consuelo Pena and haven’t heard anything back from anyone. As a single parent or relies on them for my sons summer camp needs it is extremely unpopular and disappointing how they are handling enrollments.
Very clean facility with friendly employees and plenty of machines. It’s never overly busy, so it’s easy to get a good workout in without waiting around. Great atmosphere overall!
This is the best place to workout on any day. I love coming to the Senior Workouts it's so inspiring and very important for my health. I love the instructors. They are amazing and awesome individuals ❤️.
