Buckhead is a unique and special gym. The owner(s), management, and coaches care about all the children, not just the ones in their classes/ on their teams. The coaches also support each other. We are rounding off (😉) our first year at BGC, and our daughter is the happiest I've seen her since she started gymnastics 3 years ago. Whether looking for rec classes, to perform for fun, or to be on a more competitive team, this gym offers it all, and what's more, the joy is abounding.

My daughter began in recreational classes at Buckhead and has competed on teams for Buckhead for three years. She has grown so much as a gymnast and has been encouraged and challenged by the coaches who very clearly care for her and are passionate about the sport of gymnastics. We are so grateful we found Buckhead for our gym home!

My older daughter has been at BGC for 12 years and has been trained from Kindergym through Level 9. My younger daughter participates in their recreational program and has been competing within the AAU league for the past few years at level 5 rec. We have been very pleased with the gym over the years and feel our children are well trained based on their own skills and abilities. Additionally we have added private lessons as needed to recover lost skills (this can happen from using trampolines at home) or to expedite progression. In general, if your child has the skills/ability and genuine drive, then the gym is a great fit for them.

We've been part of the Buckhead Gymnastics family since my now 5-year-old was just 2 years old, and it's been an amazing experience from the start. We've had the same incredible coach, Coach Kat, throughout our journey—she's truly wonderful and feels like part of our family. Her dedication, kindness, and passion for teaching shine through in every session. Over the years, we've done both group classes and private lessons, and both have been fantastic. The instruction is always top-notch and tailored to each child’s needs and abilities. The facility is consistently clean, organized, and welcoming. Everyone we've interacted with has provided exceptional customer service—friendly, helpful, and always professional. We also recently hosted a birthday party at the gym, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff handled everything so smoothly, and the kids had an unforgettable time. We can’t recommend Buckhead Gymnastics enough!

The showcases at the end of the year are fun and celebratory. The class sizes are larger than we hoped, with 8-12 kids which means your child spends most of the class waiting in line to spend time on bars, the beam, etc. For us, the class sizes were really frustrating as our child struggles with movement and there was not time to provide true coaching or instruction. Our first experience with Private coaching was frustrating, as we had a coach take advantage of us and charge more than we agreed upon. We found another one that is excellent though and will continue with that, dropping the classes going forward. These gym classes seem better for kids that already can do the moves on their own and want to socialize and be in a fun show.
