The department's summer camp lineup spans half-day, full-day and overnight options for ages 4–18, and families can register for a single day, a week, or the whole summer; teen camps are built around outdoor skills including skateboarding, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding, rock climbing and kayaking. The city also runs a free summer lunch program for youth 18 and under and the free Summer Kids in Parks Program (SKIPP) for ages 6–12.
