YMCA Camp Colman is an overnight summer camp on 105 forested acres with a half-mile of Puget Sound beachfront in Longbranch, operated by the nonprofit YMCA of Greater Seattle since 1912. Campers entering grades 1-12 stay in heated cabins and choose up to four activities a day from over twenty options, including archery, swimming, boating, and arts and crafts. Meals accommodate common dietary needs.

All the kids look forward to getting to 3rd grade and getting to do this special overnight camp experience. It’s a special opportunity for kids to learn, experience nature and come together. ★★★★Timothy Odeen4 out of 5 stars, lose a star for food menu. Amazing counselors and activities. Gaga ball (kinda like dodge ball), Beach combing, ropes courses, and giant swing. I was in the newer Freeman cabins and they were nice: two showers and bathrooms each. The lodge has a gorgeous view of the water. The food was mostly good, there was usually a salad bar, and at dinner they had cereal available. But anytime they served chicken it was underwhelming. One night was chicken, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. It really needed gravy. Another night was chicken rice and steamed veggies with soy sauce. It was also very dry even with the soy sauce, but if you use too much soy sauce it has other problems. I used canned tangerines from the salad bar to make it slightly better.
