Pacific Science Center's Camps for Curious Minds offers more than 100 week-long day camps for kids entering PreK through 8th grade, spanning astronomy, block coding, canoeing, zoology, and more. Camps run at six sites: the Seattle Center campus plus Othello, West Seattle, Bellevue's Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, Kenmore, and Bothell. Groups are capped at 20 campers with a dedicated educator, assistant educator, and camp aide, and staff-to-camper ratios do not exceed 1:12, with lower ratios for preschool and sensory-friendly camps. Staff are first-aid and CPR certified and trained in sensory-friendly instruction, cultural responsiveness, and child abuse protection; every site is nut-free, personal aides are accommodated with notice, extended care runs to 6pm, and catered lunch is an $80/week add-on.

The museum is especially great for families with kids. There are many hands on exhibits that make learning interactive and engaging. Visitors can experiment, explore, and play while learning about science. One of the highlights of my visit was the butterfly garden. The butterflies were beautiful and it was peaceful to walk through the space. The center has a wide variety of exhibits that appeal to different ages. It is easy to spend several hours inside without getting bored. Everything is designed to be interactive and entertaining. I would recommend purchasing the CityPASS to make the visit more affordable and convenient. It is a great stop for anyone visiting Seattle, especially if you are near the Space Needle.

The Tropical Butterfly House was beautiful, and the kids were thrilled to see so many colorful butterflies fluttering right around them. I especially enjoyed the butterfly area and the different science displays that let visitors explore and participate instead of just looking around. The building and outdoor structures are beautiful, and the whole place feels lively and educational at the same time. You can easily spend several hours here without getting bored. ★★★★★Beatrice DoyleLove the science center. We have grandchildren and wanted to check it out. What did us in was KPOP Demon Hunter's laser light show. We were like "the grandkids will love this!" Inside the science center is all kinds of hands on learning for kids of any age. Like us big kids! 😁 On the lower level there's a place to learn how to do different activities. Like there's clay, a loom for making I think it was a rug, and different wood pieces to make different patterns and shapes. There's an elevator if walking up and down stairs is a problem. Bathroom is below the main floor. We didn't go to the IMAX but it looks and sounds like fun 😁
