My parents used to take me and my siblings there when we were kids. Camp was always full of creepy men between ages 20-50 who who would hang around the lake while the kids played and would hug little girls way too long. Avoid at all costs and PLEASE do not leave your childen alone with any "camp staff" or "counselors". Take it from someone who has visited the spot and staff from age 6 to 13. Please. Do your research and stay safe. In response to the comment, since I cannot reply to it directly, I am not mistaken. Of course there’s no record of me and whatever records you keep us none of the homeschooled children who went there had birth certificates on records. And I don’t believe an organization can change is that short of time. Hard to forget a place like that unfortunately Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it so It’s actually wise to know the history of something before committing. I could name original Owners, but don’t want to make it too awkward on full views. Maybe I didn’t use the correct term for body of water lmao but clearly it’s there.

Bought a used kayak here. Good price on a used kayak, seemed like nice people. I would buy again.

I had a great time here with my family at a small gathering. The directors were very nice and hospitable. The views were amazing.

This place was really fun to camp in cause it's really wide and you can use the kitchen to cook what you want. There's also clamming, kayaking, finishing and even swimming is available. Just make sure to wear water shoes to protect your feet from the rocks and corrals!
