The Hurrah Players is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit family theatre company in downtown Norfolk, founded in 1984, that runs spring and summer theatre camps for children age 5 and up. Campers learn theatre through hands-on, workshop-style instruction spanning acting, musical theatre, singing, stagecraft and dance styles including tap, jazz and hip hop. Camps are open-enrollment and draw 400+ students across seasonal sessions at the company's West Olney Road home.
