We'll be starting our 3rd year of voice lessons for our daughter this fall- our family adores Centerstage!! I couldn't possibly say enough here about how incredible the instructors are and everyone at Centerstage truly makes you feel like you're a part of the Centerstage Family. Our daughter started with voice and has now branched out to try theater too and she is loving it all. Highly recommended to any student interested in learning an instrument, pursuing voice, or theatre- your family will be so glad you did!

My 9-year-old got the theater bug with Centerstage Academy at age 5 at a princesses and super heroes summer camp, then enrollment in the StarLites class. Every single instructor she had treated her like a star and boosted her confidence. I have Centerstage to thank for her larger-than-life love and endless passion for performing. Professionally, the instructors go above and beyond to nurture the students. Specifically, in the Musical Theater and Technical Production (MTTP) class, their skill and quality of instruction is priceless, and ultimately culminates in breathtaking performances at the end of the class term. I would describe the energy of my daughter and her classmates as magical and electric. In my opinion, the magic comes from the students being able to express themselves as artists in a nurturing and celebratory atmosphere.

Since 2010 (wow), Centerstage has been an absolute wellspring of nurturing encouragement, challenge, and *fun* in my daughter's life! She's always felt a sense of belonging here that truly brings out her best and helps to stretch her limits safely, in group theater classes and private voice lessons alike. From her preschool days of simply loving costumes, to so many performances in the community and on stage (in so many amazing costumes!), to backstage helping, summer camp volunteering, and now her first job as a teacher--what a journey! =D Every chapter has been golden, and as a family we have much gratitude to Centerstage and countless priceless memories!

I have nothing but positive things to say about the quality of the development that goes into each and every student that signs up. My eldest son has taken vocal lessons since he was ten years old and theater about a year later. Not only did Centerstage teach my son music, develop his gift of singing and acting but would find service opportunities to perform and give back to the community. My son is now in college studying pre-med and has already been complimented on his presentation skills. My youngest son is in high school and has done some acting when he was much younger but found a desire for the tech and is now being mentored for sound crew. What they learn preparing for performances hones their memorization, confidence, engaging an audience, collaboration, work ethic and creativity. These are skills that will follow them wherever their life takes them in the future.

My daughter took voice and theatre lessons from Centerstage Academy from ages 8 to 18. It was a decade filled with incredible experiences both on and off the stage. The instructors were very knowledgeable and kind and created an environment that combined needed structure with the freedom to create… a perfect mix. The voice lessons were tailored to her level and grew in difficulty as she progressed. Theatre classes ranged from elementary to advanced, with some including full length, costumed productions performed for the public. There were also many opportunities for her to give back to the community via nursing home concerts, holiday performances, caroling, etc. And last, but not least, my daughter met so many incredible people and developed so many wonderful relationships through her time at Centerstage Academy. She is now in college, working to become an epidemiologist, but she will always have a love of the arts.
