The Hawk - Farmington Hills Community Center

Some of the workers here treat some kids differently based on their ethnicity that’s for sure!! When you go to speak to the workers about the treatment and concerns they will speak to other people out in the open about what you told them. I Wanted to bring my family here to enjoy their time but got very uncomfortable and upset. I will never come here again.

I really like the concept and overall the execution of the building design is GREAT! However- rude (and somewhat obnoxious) staff and very lackluster cleaning of the facility has made me choose a different gym. Extensive brown buildup along bathroom and locker room walls kinda makes me cringe (yuck!) Doesn't give the greatest confidence in wanting to buy a membership if the location can't even be kept up properly. I do have to say that its in a great location, but that is about it.

The Hawk is a wonderful multi function facility. We were there for a play in the theatre with fantastic seating but you could see the facility and grounds are used for many sport activities and swimming. Great place and easy to get to with abundant free parking.

This facility is really nice. They have multiple gyms, fitness center, pool with lazy river and kids play area and whole lot more. My most favorite area is the “Maker’s space”. You have to get a subscription to use this area which is different from the center subscription and it is a bit expensive but if you use all the available tools and services it might worth more than what you pay for. My only disappointment is how expensive both the center and maker’s space is. I wish Farmington hills residents received a more subsidized rates hence

This facility is brand new and gorgeous. They have great summer camps for kids. The summer camps get sold out very quickly. Our children have taken multiple camps in the last two years, and they love them. Many kids from neighboring cities also come for camps. They have awesome rec classes like Pickle Ball, Tennis, soccer, etc. The theatre is gorgeous. We attended multiple shows there. Overall, we are really lucky to have a community center like Hawk.
