The Coding Space runs Camp Coding Space for ages 8-13 and TCS Academy for teens ages 13-17, with a Brooklyn site in Park Slope alongside the Upper East Side and Port Washington. Camps run Monday through Friday across the summer: mornings are real coding projects in Scratch, JavaScript and Python taught by the Socratic method rather than lectures, and afternoons are Tech Pathways campers choose from - Game Design, Robotics, Digital Art or AI - that feed back into their morning projects. The camper-to-instructor ratio is 4:1, campers get daily outdoor time and group activities, and NYC campers take field trips to tech companies such as Google HQ. Scholarships are available.
