My daughter has been attending classes at Coding Space for the past few years, and it has been a wonderful experience for her. Over time, she has systematically learned different programming languages and has built her own games and websites, which has been incredibly exciting to see as a parent. The classes have really expanded her knowledge and confidence in today’s tech-driven world, and they have also helped her do better at school. My daughter first attended The Coding Space in 2018 when she was in first grade. At the time, she attended in-person classes weekly starting with Scratch. Her teachers were very engaged in helping each student on an individual basis and at their own unique paces. Bringing her coding projects back into school to show her classmates and teachers made them very impressed! During Covid in 2020, she remained an online student even after we relocated and moved to another state. Four years later, she is still an excelling student and is advancing every week. Her teachers are intelligent, challenging and patient. We get a progress report every semester which I find valuable. In every aspect, The Coding Space has changed my daughter’s life. From learning how to code to the overall teacher experience, The Coding Space is an ideal pick for all children involved in STEM.

We have loved our experience at the Coding Space! Our daughter has been attending the Girl Code classes on the UES for the past 2 years and leaves each class with enthusiasm and excitement for all that she's learned and experienced there. We found out about the Coding Space purely though a Google search when our daughter asked if we could investigate some STEM after school programs for her. The teachers have been absolutely wonderful, paying close attention to each student and helping each child work at their own pace. Each child has the flexibility to work on their project on their own timeline based on the skills they acquire while in class. Therefore, if someone is further ahead or needs additional coaching, the teachers meet each child where they are. The teachers also write up 2 performance reviews for your child during the semester, which I was so surprised by and also thrilled about! The assessments were detailed and contained next steps for what our child should focus on moving forward. Not only did this show that the teachers take pride in the student's growth in their coding skills, but also that they really took the time to get to know each student. Finally, the office staff is always extremely accommodating, friendly, and responsive, and happy to work with you if you need to schedule a makeup class or have any questions. We cannot say enough great things about our experience with the Coding Space!
