Nicole is an amazing teacher - she loves her students and gets creative for every camp. The quality of the Children's Art Studio classes is very high, and kids really have the chance to improve their personal and artistic skills while having tons of fun. Thank you, Nicole, for these amazing courses and for the tuition-free program for the students in Ward 7. Everyone should have access to art!

My sons have been going to the Children's Art Studio since they were toddlers--first the mommy and me classes, then workshops and camps on their own, and now the pandemic online version, which is fabulous! I have always appreciated the calm and creative space, but never more than now. The children make beautiful creations and they love it. The studio is inclusive and welcoming for kids with disabilities and at all different ages and levels. The Zoom classes work so well--better than anything else the kids are doing online. We get some elusive quiet and serenity during class! Highly recommend.

My 5 year old son looks forward to class every week--he talks throughout the week of how he will finish or add to his current project or wonders what materials they will create with next. It is wonderful how Nicole creates projects working with all different types of materials and uses the children's creativity to design a one of a kind pieces to bring home. Added bonus is all the mess happens out of the house! Nicole teaches the children about art, inspires their creativity and is a wonderful, caring person.

My daughter has been in the toddler class for over a year now and has really enjoyed it. She has done a huge number of projects and my wife and I have loved seeing what’s new each week. I think the instructor does a great job of planning and organizing.

My daughter attended a one-day class and it was disappointing, given the high cost ($95 for 5 hours). The instructors were very young - and although the kids did a lot of activities, it was not serious; more like crafts than art. Some of the attendees were really badly behaved and completely uninterested. This is probably for children closer to 5 or 6 than 8 or 9.
