Milan does a great job with the kids! He does not let them just do the drill and move on, he stops them immediately if they are doing it wrong, and corrects them on the spot on how to do it right! He is great to have working with our 9 & 11 yr old daughters!

I’ve been coaching basketball for 25 years, and in all my experience, I have never come across a coach and teacher as exceptional as Milan Smiljanic. His deep understanding of the game, ability to break down fundamentals, and passion for player development set him apart from anyone else in the field. He doesn’t just teach basketball, he instills discipline, work ethic, and a love for the game that lasts a lifetime. If you truly want to learn the game the right way, forget AAU and sign up for Milan’s program. He focuses on real skill development, basketball IQ, and building confidence in his players. His coaching style is second to none, and his attention to detail ensures that every player improves, no matter their starting level. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player looking to take your game to the next level, Milan Smiljanic is the coach you need. I highly recommend his program to any player or parent looking for top-tier coaching that is way different than American basketball. You will not be disappointed! Coach Milan's program at the Art of Game is uncompromising yet effective. He emphasizes individual improvement, focusing on details that drive player development. His approach is straightforward: execute or don't. I'm impressed by how he helps players develop their own focus, and I highly recommend his program for serious basketball development.

In my experience with the different workout programs in the area I sometimes found myself feeling like a cash cow. I could clearly see mistakes being made and not corrected only to tell my daughter great job. It was frustrating!! A FRIEND OF MINE RECOMMENDED COACH MILAN ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO AND WE HAVE BEEN WITH HIM EVER SINCE!! HIS ATTENTION TO DETAILS (footwork/dribbling/shooting) AND EXPLAINING HOW TO UTILIZE THOSE DETAILS IN GAME SITUATIONS HAVE EQUIPED MY 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WITH THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO HAVE D1/D2 COLLEGE COACHES IN CONTACT WITH HER. MY 13 YEAR OLD SON STARTED TO ATTEND COACH MILAN'S WORKOUTS SINCE ABOUT JULY AND ALREADY HIS SCHOOL COACHES HAVE NOTICED A BIG DIFFERENCE IN HIS SKILL SET. I COULDN'T BE MORE HAPPY WITH THIS PROGRAM!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COACH MILAN, THE ART OF GAME BASKETBALL ACADEMY!!!

Coach Milan, owner of the Art of Game, focuses his program in what each player needs to improve. There is no sugar coating. You either execute or don’t. His focus on the details, and more importantly, developing a players focus on his/her own details, drives development. I could not be more thrilled with the way Milan deals with his players. As long as my son plays basketball, he will be under Milan’s guidance. If you are serious about basketball development, no matter you level of play, you owe a look at this program.
