Taste Buds Kitchen in downtown Providence runs weeklong kids' cooking summer camps for ages 4-17, where young chefs chop, mix and bake themed recipes each week. Registration is by the week or day, with early drop-off and late pick-up available.

★★★★★laura luthIt was a great experience. There are two small things I’d like to make know. We were a group of 4 and there was another couple in the class. The 4 of us made the same amount of food as the other two. We felt that each couple should’ve had the same amount of food They left with so much food and we barely had enough between the 4 of us. Didn’t feel like we got our moneys worth when we saw how much food they had compared to us. Even with that. The class was great. Abigail was an amazing instructor. The Thai food was exception and all the tips along the way were so great.

The facility has a large, open layout in a location with lots of windows and light that just makes you feel happy to be cooking. She made 3 items each day of the 3 hour/5 day camp, and was able to add a bit of her own creativity to each. The chef instructors made it fun and delicious every day. She always came home with stories of her day and enough of what she made for us to taste test every creation. Taste Buds Kitchen offers kids and adult classes, themed classes and party options, and so much more that we want to enjoy. I'm so glad I found them!
