Golden Boot Soccer, founded by former Israeli Premier League and George Mason player Tamir Linhart, has run youth soccer programs in the DC metro area since 1996 and offers a wide summer camp slate across McLean, Fairfax, Arlington, Vienna and Burke. Full-day camps run 9am-4pm and include Ball Mastery (ages 7-8), Positive Touch Footskills and Art of Scoring Goals (9-13), Goalkeeper Training (8-13), a World Cup camp (7-13), an Italian Soccer Academy week (7-16) and a VIP week taught by professional and college clinicians. Half-day camps run 9am-12pm, and short morning Lil' Boots sessions serve ages 3-6. Training pairs technical work with what the company calls cognitive training - reaction time, field awareness and decision-making under pressure.

Powered by GoogleI signed my daughter up for Golden Boot Soccer Expert Training winter program. She plays on a travel team throughout the year and I was hoping this interesting sounding program would help her during her off season. Well, in her last game of the season, she broke her ankle. Sadly, she missed the first month of the Expert Training program. When she was finally able to attend after she healed up, we were both blown away at this program. Here's what she loves about it: 1. They play co-ed. She loves playing with boys and their different dynamic. Personally, I think it's good for both genders to have time playing together. 2. A soccer ball is used, not a heavier futsal ball. This helps with their control and touch and she loved running harder. 3. She's loved having different coaches each week and learning from their different styles and emphasis. Things that I loved: 1. Tamir Linhart. This man is amazing. His authenticity, level of involvement, and concern for his program and the kids is astounding. Sometimes youth sports can feel like a money grab. I did not feel this at all about his programing. He loves the sport, loves the kids, and loves what he does. He was at every session we went to and chatted with parents with ease. When he found out my daughter had missed the first month, he insisted she come to another program to make up for those weeks missed. 2. The location. It's easy to find and easy to park. 3. The experience. It was great to see how different high level coaches talk to their players, what they focus on, and what skills they expect kids to have. Honestly, if you are on the fence about Golden Boot Soccer, give it a try. I hope you are as happy as my daughter and I am. We will be signing up for this program every year!
This soccer program has been AMAZING! My daughter played youth soccer in Mclean and enjoyed it. But when one of her classmates parents offered up Golden Boot Soccer for her 1st grade class, we signed up. We thought it would be fun for the kids to see each other outside of school. We had made a small pod of classmates from her school to play together. We had about 10 classmates sign up. Golden Boot was very accommodating about the day and time for class. The kids loved it. They set up drills, training, and games. They came with all their own equipment. The trainers that came were all great with the kids. All the trainers were really fun and engaging and they had the kids running around and smiling for the full hour. As a parent I really enjoyed watching my daughter play soccer with her friends in a small group that we were able to set up. She liked soccer before, but now she loves soccer! She wants to play all the time and I cant thank the Golden Boots program enough. I would definitely give them a call if you are looking for soccer classes for you kids.
My son has attended several Golden boot camps over the last 18 months. He has grown to love soccer and improve his skills through the program. They focus on the basics (footwork, movement, agility) and provide a nurturing, supportive environment. The coaches are accessible professionals and it is a great program for kids at all levels. We will definitely be registering again.
We have attended Golden Boots camps and clinics for many years along with many others. Golden Boots is always evolving their training. Because they are not a league with teams their training has to be top notch. Our kids especially enjoy the street soccer clinics and art of scoring goals
I signed up my son for the Lil Boots Camp at Providence Park (Fairfax). After each session the kids would head to the nearby playground for open play which was nice. My son really enjoyed the camp, the coaches did a great job with the kids and making it fun for them. I was hoping my son would not only have fun but also learn about teamwork and sportsmanship, I was happy to see that he was picking up on those concepts. We've got the soccer bug now, I hope to sign him up for a couple more camps in Fairfax and Centreville....
