My son has grown so much in basketball since he’s been here. Everyone gets a chance to play and have fun. Some coaches are amazing while others are bleh but the good thing is every season you can change if you don’t like that particular coach. Overall we like it and would recommend.

Overall, have had good experiences with Tamiami as my son has played there for 5 consecutive seasons, but this last season was horrible. My son had two coaches this last season that did not care to coach, hold practices, or put the kids on the team in a position to succeed. I’m tempted to mention them by name so others do not experience what we did. But I’ll take the high road. Many coaches care a lot. But others are there just to go through the motions and to give priority to their own sons. The league should hold all coaches to a minimum standard to make sure that the product that is put out is consistent for all kids and parents. Please be careful. It’s hit or miss with this league and it’s unfortunate because the ones that suffer are the kids and parents. Kudos to the coaches that care!

Tamiami is one of the best basketball leagues out there, your opponents wont be rude or disrespectful in any way, everyone is there for fun and to win a chip. The coaches are really nice but also strict enough to make sure you get your work in before games. They really helped me become a better basketball player and i thank all my coaches for that. The only thing preventing me from giving this league a 5 stars are there refs, they’re refs would call things that either wouldn’t make sense or they just wont call anything even if your being thrown to the floor, but it rarely happens, and thank you tamiami for helping me become a better player.

I really didn't think that they would act they way they do. The referees of that league friends with the parents. They show favor while the children playing so you know your team in trouble because they play dirty not fair. The coaches playing and smiling with referees the parents putting 💰 in referees pockets so their team to win. I thought this doesn't happen dealing with children OMG! If you got money to put pockets of the referees this league is for you.

Simply All about you.

Okay, I have to say , that the tamiami facility, it's a place that I will never, never go back or let my son play there never again. They have the worst refs, that they are not fair, there team always will win, all dirty , unfairness, very sad... Also this couch wife from the thunder basketball team. Are very rude, disrespectful, and racist. .. Please don't sign in your kids with them. She was calling an other mom from the opposite team, a b*ch, gettho, that she smell, fat. And you are telling me that her husband and her are couching your kids, wow! What a good example. Guess what the lady she insulted, she work for the city of miami. And this kind of behavior is not acceptable. The only reason I gave them a start is because the website do not let you commenting, with you rating. But for me not even a start. A lot of stuff is going on in that facility. Be careful , who you enroll your kids with.
