SwimRVA-North is the outdoor satellite site of nonprofit SwimRVA at 317 North Wilkinson Road in Chamberlayne, with a family pool, a lap and leisure pool, a kiddie pool, basketball courts and open grass space. Its General Summer Camps run Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in weekly sessions from June through early August for ages 6-12, building daily swim lessons into a day that also includes nature walks, slip-and-slide, kickball, relay races, crafts and journals. The camp is part of SwimRVA's Drownproof Richmond water-safety mission, and families with gross incomes below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines can have 40-80% of program fees covered.

★★★★★Francis LongakerI have been going to SwimRVA at the N. Wilkinson road location a few summers with family and it is always fun and relaxing. The pool has a pleasant outdoor atmosphere with a nice layout and features like diving board, inflatable slide, and pickleball and basketball courts. The kiddie pool has a shade canopy over it now which is a nice addition, and the inflatable slide is also relatively new, so it's great to see continued additions/improvement. The bright blue walls have a nice pop and the decor is nice and make for great photos. The snack bar is good with tasty burgers and pizzas, and the staff are friendly. We have made great memories here and are looking forward to more summers!

But maybe this year was the best. We have an extended season that was beginning of May through end of September, New pickle bar courts and new diving board. The parties are fun! And there’s always plenty of furniture. It’s a great place for families.

The upgrades are fantastic. I’m obsessed with the comfortable temp of the heated pool! We love all the staff. It’s relaxed and fun vibe. My toddler is enrolled in swim school and we’ve gotten so much out of that too. Again, amazing coaches who are patient and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things!
