SwimRVA runs week-long summer swimming day camps across three Richmond-area locations, led by regional aquatics professionals. General camps for ages 6-12 run Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with up to 20 swim lessons a week woven between journaling on arrival, water safety, team-building, healthy-eating education and fitness activities, winding down with yoga or a movie. Specialty weeks target older kids: Water Sports Camp (ages 10-15) rotates kayaking, water polo, synchronized swimming, paddle boarding and log rolling; Junior Lifeguarding (ages 11-14) is a 30-hour CPR and first-aid certification course; Summer League Tune-Up (ages 10-15) keeps team swimmers sharp; and Mermaid Camp (ages 8-15) and Water Polo Camp (ages 8-15) round out the lineup. Campers must turn 6 before their camp week starts and may not attend more than 25 days in any three-month period.

Powered by GoogleGreat facility! Wonderful and affordable birthday party option. Pretty good swim lesson program. We experienced some bumps and hiccups in communication when we switched to swim team, so we ended up dropping it and going elsewhere. But for swim lessons they can’t be beat!
My dear friend wanted to be baptized He is in an assisted living in Richmond. Our pastor made arrangement to use your facility, but when we arrived , we were not on the schedule. The manager and staff on hearing our problem ,quickly went to work and got a pool to get Jimmy baptized. Union Church South Boston Va thanks you all for your kindness. God Bless.
This is a very nice facility. It’s not as big as some of the others where we have competed, but the ventilation is good and the scoreboard system is very convenient. There is a desk-like table for those seated at the front row to work on their computer while they watch the events. There’s also plenty of parking in the main lot and overflow lot.
Took the swim classes here which at top notch; the staff teaching swimming are very dedicated and fantastic. Unfortunately the locker room is not safe; over $200 of items were stolen from my locker. I no longer feel safe using the facility at the main site.
Had my son's 5th birthday party here. The room was set up upon arrival as described. We had the smaller pool (3.5-5ft) to ourselves. Ukrops cake and Papa John's pizza were ordered as I selected. They provided a case of water that was kept in a refrigerator. Jordan was our party host-he was kind, professional, and approachable. Would have another party here.
