SwimAmerica-Davis and Sweet Peas Gymnastics
Private
SwimAmerica-Davis offers year-round swim lessons for all ages (infants through adults), from water-safety basics to competitive stroke development, and shares its Davis site with the Sweet Peas educational gymnastics program for children 4 months to 6 years. Both operate as ongoing lesson and class programs rather than a distinct summer day camp.

Powered by GoogleStaff is very attentive and friendly. They do a good job of keeping the play area organized.
Katie the manager is awful. So rude and passive aggressive to parents and coaches. She makes snarky comments and rolls eyes when asked questions with an “obvious answer”. She and the business are money hungry and care more about keeping enrollments than improving your children’s swimming. The prices are predatory and not worth the monthly payment if classes are only once a week. Cancelling enrollment is a headache because they need the form a week before the month even ends… otherwise they’ll just go ahead and charge your card for another month of classes.
This place is a perfect place to take your kids if you want them to learn how to swim. Classes even begin with the infant toddler class so that your baby can get used to the water. The class is usually with one parent along with the baby and its a great bonding experience. The pool is indoors and heated sobtou dont have to worry about cold water during the fall and winter months. Instructors are super friendly and some of them are even graduated students of the program which is amazing. There are plenty of cubbies to place your things, changing rooms and showers to rinse off after the swim. Classes teach the fundamentals of swimming and getting the kids used to the water and learning water safety.
We have had a wonderful experience with Swim America and their infant/toddler classes & level 3 kids class. The staff are phenomenal and the facility is always clean and tiddy. We really appreciated their focus on safety during the pandemic.
My little butterball's first water lessons! He's loving it and the instructors are very attentive and mindful. The place is clean and they are sticklers for proper safety protocols. Very impressed... Now if they can only open one in Roseville (my only gripe is I have to drive all the way to Davis)
