Stedman Recreation Center, part of Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation, hosts a summer day camp for children who have completed kindergarten through age 12. The camp runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6pm, from late May through mid-August, with crafts, games, and a weekly pool visit.

They have all kinds of great activities for the kids,summer camp, sports, and the after hour care for kids while they are in school!! The Rec center is doing an amazing job for our community here in Stedman, and I can't stress enough how great the team is here in Stedman. When I first got in Stedman I didn't know anything about how to get my son involved into sport and Walker took me through all the programs, showed me the scheduled, thanks to him and his staff my son is in the Taekwondo class 2 nights a week, indoor and outdoor soccer, the scouts, the after hour care and this spring baseball. If you live in Stedman stop by the rec center it's small but it's amazing what Walker and his team are able to do with the little they have!! Thank you Nikki, Asiana, Nicole, Wes and Walker!!
