Cliffdale Recreation Center runs a Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation summer day camp for children who have completed kindergarten through age 12. The camp runs Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with activities, crafts, games, and a weekly visit to an FCPR pool. Resident fees are about $65 per week.

★Alexis WilliamsDo not, I REPEAT, DO NOT sign your children up for the FAD dance team. Coach Dez and Coach Legend are highly unprofessional and will bully the children on their own team. They tell the parents they are not allowed in the practices just for them to talk down and or about your child and belittle them as well. And then if your child speaks up and tells you as their parent, the coaches are even more upset. Making comments like "Oh the children are talking about us!?" The coaches are old and tired and are really trying to relive their glory days in college and highschool. They make you buy 175.00 dance outfit and will come up with excuses why your child is not in the routine and wearing the outfit that you paid 175.00 for. They have called practices and will sit around not doing ANYTHING. The coaches are late and unreliable to not only practices but to live compettions. Very much so child like. Coach Legend threatened to sit children out of the routine if their hair is not the way they told them to be. How dare he say that to children as if they have control over their parents money and time. Coach Dez will use the team members to gain a ptofit! Not only charging 75.00 for monthly tuition but also charging the team members to get their hair done for 100.00 for compettions and showcases and selling her own team memebers candy for her own profit. And it may have something to do with her new pregnancy. She already has 3 young children that she doesnt get any help with. But the team shouldnt have to pay to help her take care of her children. Thats her husbands responsibilty and priority. Not ours.
