The State Theatre Center for the Arts at 453 Northampton St in Easton runs a two-week Summer Acting Camp for students in grades 1-12, led by Denise Crawn and a team of theatre-arts instructors. Campers rotate daily through three core classes in acting, music and dance, covering audition technique, stage terminology, character development, scene work, improvisation and choreography, and the session ends in a Saturday recital. The 2026 camp runs July 6-17 on weekdays, with the recital on July 18; beginners and experienced performers are both welcome.

★★★★★Amos JokarWe were here for the first time this past weekend. We saw the Lewis Black stand-up comedy tour. It was a great experience here. The theater is absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of staff. All of the staff that we interacted were very pleasant and helpful. We will be checking the schedule to keep an eye out for more shows that we would like to see. We did park a few blocks away in a free lot. It was quite the hill to walk back up. We had a great time. I recommend checking out a show here.
