Starting 5ive is an AAU club basketball program based at Newark Academy in Livingston, taking boys and girls ages 7-16 from 2nd grade through high school. Its summer season runs June through August as a club season rather than a camp: players train two workouts per week and compete in the Power League, competitive tournaments or circuits depending on skill level, with practices and games around Chatham, South Orange, Livingston, New Providence and Madison.
