Hoop Lab in Freehold runs the Rise Camp, a four-day summer basketball camp for ages 12 and up, held August 3-6 from 10am-1pm. Enrollment is limited and campers stay in consistent small groups all week, working on advanced skill development including shooting, footwork, decision-making and competitive play, with film study and breakdowns to reinforce on-court learning. Camp is led by NBA skills trainer Zach Leach, who has trained Karl-Anthony Towns, Jamir Watkins and over 200 pro and college players, and campers get bonus access to Hoop Lab group classes during the academy week.

Powered by GoogleHands down the best basketball training!. Every session is purposeful, challenging, and results-driven. Zach is amazing!
This is one of the best, if not the best basketball training spot. The staff are super friendly, super technical, and really care about each persons development. My kid has been coming here for over a year now and having been through so many clinics, I can guarantee you won’t find anything like hooplab. It’s once to see staff that are so sincere and knowledgeable beyond belief about basketball.
Transformational Training at Hoop Lab! My two boys have been training with Zach Leach at Hoop Lab in Freehold for over two years, and the progress they’ve made has been incredible. Zach has a unique ability to identify and target the weaknesses in each player’s game, turning them into strengths through focused, personalized training. He doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach — he customizes his coaching based on what each athlete truly needs to grow. Whether it’s ball handling, shooting, footwork, or decision-making, Zach zeroes in on those areas and builds them up with intention and intensity. My kids not only enjoy going to Hoop Lab, but they’ve also gained real confidence on the court because of the work they’ve done with Zach. If you're looking for a trainer who is invested in your child’s development and knows how to bring out their best, Hoop Lab is the place. Mike Duffy
Invaluable! Our son has been training with Andy for a few months. Not only has he gained new training techniques but sincere confidence that shows in his playing. As a parent I am always looking for skilled and positive influences from teachers and coaches. Zach and Andy have that gift with the kids, and it really leads to results. It’s hard work, but they always make it fun. I can’t recommend Hoop Lab and their method of training enough! Thank you!!
My son Tyler has been training with Zach at Hoop Lab, and I’m beyond impressed with his progress. From the first session, where Tyler struggled to dribble through his legs, to now confidently wrapping the ball around his back—it’s been an incredible transformation! The improvement we’ve seen is a true testament to Zach’s dedication and training methods. While it’s been a gradual journey, the results speak for themselves. Tyler has not only improved his skills but also gained more confidence on the court. Thank you, Zach, for your hard work and for helping Tyler reach new heights!
