Springfield Youth Performance Group, a nonprofit dance foundation, runs a summer camp series of single-day themed camps for ages 3-5 and 5-10, covering ballet, hip hop, tap, pom and musical theatre. Each camp is a two-hour session — most run 10:00am-12:00pm, with a few afternoon slots — and the $35 fee includes the movement time, crafts and themed take-home swag. Camps run from late June through July and are held at The Grant Conservatory of Music & Dance in Springfield; campers are encouraged to dress in theme.
