The Hoogland Center for the Arts is an 80,000-square-foot nonprofit arts building in downtown Springfield housing three theatres, a dance studio, galleries and rehearsal and banquet space, and is home to a number of resident arts organizations. Its own education program, begun in 2012, offers theatre classes for children in grades 1-12 on year-long and quarterly terms rather than as a summer camp. The PAVE summer theatre camp that meets in the building is run by resident company Springfield Theatre Centre and is listed separately.

Between the performances, the education programs, the visiting artists, and the incredible people behind it all, Hoogland is a truly special place. Springfield is lucky to have it.
