Powered by GoogleI'm there at least 5 mornings a week ! Great programs, pool, work out area
A pillar of the Southington community. Offers a lot of classes for adults and kids. There is a preschool program across the street and in the upstairs of the main building. They also have child care right off the front desk area where you can drop off your child while you work out. Great cardio and weight strength machines. They also have a gymnasium for basketball, pickleball and there are also racquetball courts. Cannot forget about the pool. No parking issues it is a large lot with extra parking in the back of the building. And best of all the facilities are CLEAN.
I go there all the time to play basketball and workout love going their great staff and love the community of people their
Been a member for one month. The gym is great and the classes I’ve tried were fun. Big fan of the sauna! But what in the world is going on with the pool hours? I don’t know why the pool is even really advertised when the times to access it for open swim are so spotty and limited. We joined just for a month to start… and the very limited weekend pool hours were fully cancelled two weekends in a row F, Sat, Sun due to apple harvest. I have been trying to use the pool since I’ve started and not once have been able to access open swim in the short, specific, and odd hours available. I’ve looked at other YMCAs which all seem to have more reasonable hours. It’s been a bit disappointing, and may lead us to try elsewhere.
We are members of the Cheshire branch. Today was my first time using the Southington facility. It’s very nice and clean, locker rooms are newer looking and clean. I had lost my key tag and the front desk helped out with no problem. Great experience.
