Slammers is a baseball and softball training academy in the Libertyville area with more than 20,000 square feet of indoor cages for hitting, fielding and pitching, running camps and clinics year-round with instruction designed by Major League veterans. Its summer baseball camps are held outdoors at neighborhood parks - Butler Lake in Libertyville, with sessions also run at North Park in Lincolnshire and Deerpath in Lake Forest - and the academy warns they have sold out in recent years, with registration opening around spring break. Other programming includes a skill development camp split by grade into roughly 75-minute afternoon blocks, a Presidents Day skills camp for 1st-4th graders, a pitching mechanics rebuild program, travel teams and a 9U-14U fall league.

This facility is exactly what a baseball academy should be. The excitement from players 5-25 working on getting better. The environment brings out a love for baseball. Salzy helped my 8u travel player with tips and work that he can take back to his team training. My son is excited to be back.
Good food, cold drinks, volleyball 6 days a week!
Kyle gave an awesome lesson to my daughter again and is really great kidding kids to understand the concepts
We were there with our grand son today and was very impressed. My only complaint was when making a purchase with cash I was unable to get a receipt. Texted or a paper copy. I'm not sure if that is policy or the young just wasn't trained in that procedure. Not a big thing but it would have been nice to get one in case of a problem with the item we purchased for him.
