Elite Baseball Training, founded by hitting instructor Justin Stone, runs baseball skills camps, group classes and private lessons from its Chicago facility on Bradley Place, with sister locations in Mundelein, Aurora, Tinley Park and McHenry County. Chicago camps are split by age band: summer skills camps at Bradley Fieldhouse and a wiffle ball camp at Horner Park for ages 7-12, and a Justin Stone hitting clinic plus a pro-style hitting development camp for ages 13-17. Camps are open to any entrant subject to space, age, grade and gender limits; daily camp hours are not published. The academy also fields travel baseball and softball teams.

★Matt LapRegarding their teams - they don’t have outdoor practice space so if your son plays outfield, he’s basically never going to see a fly ball outside of games. My son’s coach was a first time coach, was offered little to no support from the organization, was fired part way through the season because parents were upset about their son’s playing time under him. If another parent on our team hadn’t bought a bucket of balls, wiffles, etc, we wouldn’t have had any equipment for pre-game warmups, which is pretty funny given what these guys charge.
★Beth HavilandIf I could give zero stars -I would. My son tried out for their “Elite” team. They were more than happy to take my money for the try-out but absolutely no communication afterwards. It is fine if you don’t want my son on your team-but I’ve the decency to communicate that. Very unprofessional!!
★★★★★Christina MendozaTravis' Velocity program has produced wonderful results for my brother L. Marquez. He gained 10% going from 70 to 77 mph in six weeks. The following year, he gained another 10% going from 80 to 88 mph in six weeks. If you are willing to keep to Travis' instructions in between sessions, you can expect results. He's the type of coach that has outside-the-box techniques, but they actually work! He's also the type of guy that is respectful with how he teaches (no demeaning words... Etc.).
