The Dr. Robert Shurney Legacy Center is a City of Huntsville Parks & Recreation center in North Huntsville with a gymnasium, pickleball courts, trails and playgrounds. It hosts half-day specialty summer camps for ages 6-12, including an Outdoor Adventure Camp and a Sports Camp, each running 8 a.m. to noon.

There are shaded picnic tables surrounding the playground to eat at and/or watch your children play. The surrounding trees and lawn space make the space even better. My kids had a great time!
