I wanted to be able to give this location a good review; however, I see they are not responsive to customer needs. What i requested was not a big request. I asked simply that the weekend patreons receive the same benefits as clients who attend during the week. On the weekends, the fans and many times the sauna/steam room are not turned on, the workers don’t know how to turn them on and despite asking the director, Nicole, several times and receiving the assurance this would be corrected. No luck. The gym is hot and humid without the fans and makes the workout experience unbearably hot. I suppose people have to pass out or have a heat stroke before the problem will be corrected. Not sure why this is so difficult to remedy.

Place excellent. Clean and good staff. One comment for management. There is one parking space for handicap and most of the time is used by YMCA Employee... This space for us.... Today I sow your desk employee at 10 am parking her car in the space.. this is a shame

This is gym is the best I've been to. There are sweet-spots of time where there are very few people. This gym is very intimate with a great aesthetic and a view out into Big Spring Park. The locker rooms and showers are almost always clean. There is quite a bit packed into this somewhat small gym. You can find most machines you want to use and there are plenty of treadmills and ellipticals. I would recommend this gym. Great setting, great staff, great location.

I love coming here! The staff always greets my one year old and I with such kindness. The people in the childcare center are sweet to my little one and myself. He always leaves happy. Oh and the place is so clean! From childcare room to equipment to the locker rooms and the water fountain. I love a clean gym! The weights and equipment are well organized, up to speed with today’s technology and fun to use. There are umbrella and coat racks right up front. I can take my gym bag with me to machines. People are friendly, no judgey feeling. The reasons I’m giving 4 stars is because of the hours and parking. It closes at 9 and I typically come in the morning but I get off of work at 9 so it would be nice to go later in the evening when I want to. I have to park up the hill or across the street so it’s just a bit of a walk but it feels like a mile away when I’m lugging my gym bag, my baby’s bag and also the 20+ pound baby! Besides that, everything is just what I need.

Such wonderful staff. The facility is top notch - all new equipment. For the Express YMCA in town, they still offer quite a few classes throughout the day. If you have a suggestion, write on a comment card, they'll listen :) many unique, fun challenges throughout the year to keep you excited about coming to the gym. Great environment!
