Haven Farms is a 95-acre farm in Hazel Green with more than 100 animals that runs week-long summer day camps for children ages 4 to 13, plus a Critter Camp Extreme for ages 12 to 15. Full-day camp runs 8:30am to 4:00pm, June through July, and includes hands-on animal care; beginner and intermediate horseback riding is offered for ages 8 and up. Set on a working farm.

He didn't know anybody and was a little apprehensive, but by the end of his first day, he was asking to spend the whole summer there! You can tell the effort and thought that goes into hiring the farm staff and camp counselors, as they are all amazing with the kids and have a servant's heart. The small counselor to camper ratios allow for great relationships to be formed, and give parents a peace of mind that their child(ren) will get a personalized experience. This is THE place for kids over the summer!

★★★★★Julianne Kirchner TaylorWe went to Haven Farms today and I can’t contain my excitement! This place is a gem! I went with my 21 month son and two other Mom friends who also have toddlers. WE HAD A BLAST! Anna, the farm manager, is absolutely incredible! She loves her job and it shows. She was so kind to the animals and the kids and gave us a wonderful farm tour! Anna is very knowledgeable and is so friendly she made the farm a great experience for everyone!! The animals (pigs, goats, cows, horses, chickens, alpacas, working dogs, ducks, and rabbits) are unlike any other animals I’ve ever been around - they are so gentle and loving, and very obviously well cared for and loved! The farm is immaculate - so clean and well maintained! It’s a beautiful space with a covered picnic area, two playgrounds, a large sand pit, and the cleanest porta-potties you’ve ever seen. I’m pregnant and I’m telling you these had no smell - I would have noticed- also had a nice area to wash hands. Overall this place is amazing and really deserves more attention, as it’s such a hidden gem! I highly recommend visiting!
