Sharon's School of Dance in Highspire, established in 1983, teaches ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, baton and gymnastics to students ages 1 and up, including a Saturday 'Dancing In Diapers' class for the youngest dancers. Enrollment is by monthly tuition for weekly classes on a season schedule; the studio publishes no summer camp program.

About 15 years ago, I started with Hip-Hop, then added Tap, and eventually Jazz, even sometimes Lyrical (ballet isn't my cup of team but it's available). The teachers and women I dance with have become wonderful friends and going to class is like a social therapy session, as well as physical exercise. I cannot say enough good things!
