My daughter just finished her first year here and I have to say, it's one of the best studios around. (This is our 3rd studio and she's been dancing for 9 years!) Not only has she grown technically as a dancer this year, but the camaraderie between the students as well as the teachers is second to none. The girls tend to encourage and bolster each other and the teachers provide a nurturing, pleasant environment for the girls. They genuinely celebrate everyone's achievements. Not only is the instruction excellent, but the year is filled with fun events like master classes, picnics, sleepovers, and pool parties that build team spirit and promote friendships. The Ballet Mistress even takes time out of her busy schedule to take the girls shopping for their first pointe shoes! The parents committee provides low-cost, home-cooked meals on the busiest dance night of the week so the girls aren't skipping meals or eating unhealthy, fast food. Yes, dance schools can be pricey and very time-consuming, but if your daughter is serious about it, this is a great place for her. I highly recommend it!
