Pennsylvania Ballet Academy in Camp Hill runs a summer intensive in classical ballet under former principal dancers Davit Karapetyan and Vanessa Zahorian. The program covers classical ballet technique, pointe, men's and women's variations, character, partnering, contemporary, tap, jazz, Gyrotonic conditioning, acting for dancers and nutrition for dancers, with separate children's and adult tracks. Merit-based scholarships are available and pricing is given on request. This is a pre-professional training intensive rather than a general-interest camp; daily hours are not stated.

Powered by GoogleWe absolutely love Pennsylvania Ballet Academy! The teachers are not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely kind and supportive. My daughter has grown so much here — not just in her technique, but in confidence and love for ballet. It truly feels like a second home. The facility is always very clean and well cared for, which we really appreciate. The atmosphere is warm, the training is top-quality, and the performances with live orchestra are always so BEAUTIFUL! We’re so thankful to be part of the PBA family! 😍
The class schedule is not conducive to anyone who isn't a stay at home parent whose kids go to Camp Hill. They are bad at communicating important information regarding changes until the last minute. The teacher for the younger girls seems to not realize she's not teaching future ballerinas to dance for Tsar in Russia.
I had a lovely first adult ballet class. The instructor and other students were kind and welcoming. It was fun to try something new in a great space.
The Pennsylvania ballet Academy is a wonderful place for boys and girls as well as young men and young women to learn the skill in the art of ballet and dance. All of the staff are highly professional and exceptional working with the kids.
My 9 year-old son has been going there for a couple of months. So far, he loves it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. If your looking for a dance studio, I can’t recommend Pennsylvania Ballet Academy enough.
