SFC New England is a premier youth soccer club based in Winchester that runs four one-week summer camps at the Winchester Community Park complex through July, in partnership with Teamworks. Campers choose a half-day session (9am-12pm, birth years 2011-2018) or a full-day session (9am-3pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-12pm Friday, birth years 2011-2017); the club advises that 6- to 8-year-olds take the half-day option only. The curriculum emphasizes skill-building technique and introduces tactical team concepts, using 4v4 small-sided games to teach passing angles, team shape and fundamentals of team play, and players are placed in groups by both age and ability. Camps are run by SFC director of coaching Gary Crompton, welcome recreational and club players alike, and are registered through Teamworks Winchester.
