Seven Hills Dance Studio has taught dance in Lynchburg since 1939 and runs two summer programs at its Boonsboro Road studio. A half-day summer camp for ages 3-8 runs Monday-Friday July 20-24, 9:30am-12pm ($125), where dancers try a variety of styles in age-grouped classes and give an informal showing for parents on the last day; dress code is relaxed for first-timers and the studio keeps a donated shoe bin. A summer intensive for ages 9-18 runs Monday-Thursday July 27-30, 5-8pm ($145), with master classes in ballroom, pom, improv, contemporary, leaps/turns, hip hop, stretch conditioning and jazz.
