Select Soccer Club runs half-day summer soccer camps and clinics at 55 Recreation Park Drive in Hingham for players ages 5 to 14. The main camp runs Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; shorter weekday clinics and evening sessions are also offered. Coaching mixes fundamental technique, tactical work and fitness across all skill levels from beginner to advanced, with team-building games and dress-up days. Enrollment is open to any player regardless of which club they play for.

★Elayna HebertThe organization flatly refused to even have a conversation to discuss the inability of a player to play due to a health-related issue. We would only receive emails from “select finance” citing policy and not so much as asking how my player was doing. Several requests were made to discuss the matter over the phone and Select Finance refused. It was a very impersonal and cold interaction after sharing a personal situation. I can confidently share that this organization puts profit over players and utilizes template-style email as their chosen communication with families.
★★Agnes Badek LeeThe emphasis seems to be on winning rather than on player development, which should be at the heart of youth soccer at the early stages. We routinely drive nearly 50 minutes to games, and it’s disheartening to see the same small SELECT group of players receive the majority of game time while others spend most of the time on the bench—often getting only a couple of minutes on the field. This not only impacts their motivation but also limits their opportunity to improve, learn, and contribute to the team. Only equitable participation for all players will allow for building confidence, experience, and skills which is not hapenning.
