★★★★★Eric EnskatWe came for this year's Oktoberfest! I remember coming here years (decades?) ago, in my youth, and seeing many of my parents German friends. Many changes since my last visit, but still a fun and welcoming crowd! I ran into one woman who had never been here, but came with her father-in-law, and said she felt like one of the family. I saw some people I haven't seen in years, and was welcomed with hugs. We also met some new people who more recently joined the club, and still welcomed us with smiles and genuine interest! This event had a few vendors, who were, for the most part, friendly and engaging. The food was very good, and the portions were quite large for the price! Though my family German, we pretty much just grew up like regular kids, just with a lot of German clubbing family friends. Every time I bring friends from other cultures, even those who are not from Europe, they are welcomed. Stop by for a festival or other event, and enjoy some German gemutlichkeit and bier!

Treats the turf like an old man sitting on his porch yelling at kids to stay off the grass. Game over...be gone! Repeatedly reminds that it is private property. Not a welcoming atmosphere to play at all. They have taken what could have been something great and could have been welcoming into something that makes you not want to go back. We will not be.
